As a caregiver for a beloved child with autism, the path of learning is extensive and deeply meaningful. The term 'overwhelming' may even inadequately convey its depth. In assembling these resources, our objective is to provide not just answers but also a wellspring of hope.
Children display remarkable diversity in their development and behaviors, making the diagnosis of autism a nuanced challenge. Feeling concerned about your child's development can be an incredibly stressful experience, but it's crucial not to draw conclusions independently.
Autism symptoms can manifest as early as the first few months of life, while in other cases, they become apparent during toddlerhood or later. Some children may exhibit many or most of the signs, while others show few, if any. Adding to the complexity, certain children without autism may display behaviors commonly associated with autism spectrum disorder.
The key is to seek early, professional evaluation for your child. If you have concerns about your child's development, we encourage you to reach out for a screening today.

There is no one definitive cause of autism. Ongoing research suggests that autism develops from a combination of genetic and nongenetic and/or environmental influences. It’s important to keep in mind that increased risk is not the same as cause. For example, some gene changes associated with autism can also be found in people who don’t have the disorder.* ABA therapy has been shown to make significant differences in minimizing the symptoms.
